Good post, although I think care has to be taken to emphasise that it is only SOME social media sites that Tim Berners-Lee said are greating black holes in the web, like Facebook and LinkedIn. Ironically, Tim has a Linkedin account. He also has Twitter account but Twitter is in general good for the web, given availability of (much of) its content on Google.
